Dr. David Greene was brought up in the home of a minister where his rebellion was hidden from his parents but resentment was in his heart.  As a young boy he wore clothing that had been donated by parishioners for the missionary barrel of which his family had first choice.  Consequently, he wore clothing that his friends had cast off.

     The result of Dr. Greene's young impressionable poverty was a yearning for wealth.  He took any job he could get to earn a little bit of money - no matter how much.  He would work more than one job for most of his life because of his work-a-holic mentality held over from his youth. 

     David met and married Jeanne in Seattle where his father was pastoring a church.  He then entered the military for six years shortly after marriage.    Their family consists of two married daughters.  David's pursuit of the dollar caused him to shoot for the top of the ladder in the developing communications industry.  He achieved the executive vice president position of a radio, television and cable company which allowed him and his family to live in a penthouse during those exciting and productive years.  He, many times with his family, traveled all fifty states while being a sports broadcaster.

     During a troubling time in his life, the Lord reached him for the purpose of leading him into ministry.  David achieved a Masters of Divinity and then a Ph.D which aided him in his ministry as a pastor for over two decades.  David is also a vocalist and continues to preach and sing occassionally.  He and his wife are both speakers at seminars and conferences.

     Because of his ambition during his business years, he and his wife were able to purchase and open several small businesses in the Phoenix-Sun City area.  These have now been passed on to one of their daughters. 

     In 2001 CLI was turned over to Dr. David Greene and his wife Jeanne for the purpose of developing and distributing new materials.
